We are here to help you understand geothermal from all aspects: concepts, energy, HVAC, saving money, even some tips for the serious do-it-yourselfer.

Just so you know a little about us, we are a team of individuals who run this site as a side project. Our “day jobs” are as geothermal HVAC designers at one of the U.S.’s leading consulting and design firms.

We are witnessing first hand that geothermal is the go-to technology for energy efficient building design. Although we do most of our “day job” work on AutoCAD preparing full architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans for clients, we spend our leisure time reading, writing for this site, and (more fun than both of those) rolling up our sleeves and doing DIY projects for each other’s personal houses.

This has included a few solar panels, rain catchment systems, and a few residential geothermal systems.

We love everything about geothermal, and want to share that with you.
